After nearly 7 months of launched sea and air operations, Muammar Gaddafi has finally been brought down. Today NATO confirmed their Libyan mission would end next week, since this has been accomplished. Their main objective was to protect civilians under attack or threats. This operation was coined as "Unified Protection".
